The Women Tech Council held its 2026 awards on 17 September 2026 at The Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, honoring Carmen Kivisild among the year's cohort for her work on AI in preclinical research.
The Women Tech Council has spent more than fifteen years working on the pipeline of women into technology careers in Utah, through mentoring, school programmes and its annual awards. The 2026 awards night put the year's honorees in front of the state's technology community.
The ceremony
The Women Tech Council held its 2026 awards on 17 September 2026 at The Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. Carmen Kivisild attended as one of the year's honorees, recognised in July for her work building Elnora's AI agent for preclinical laboratory research. Networking for honorees, judges and sponsors opened the evening ahead of the main programme in the Grand Ballroom.
